session error

im on suphp server

i set cron to delete the files. i went in and deleted them in ftp did i mess it up? lol

I have a similar problem!
after cleaning the folder sessions.

I don't use tradex so I am not too sure here...

Why are you clearing out that directory? My best guess is that the script needs those files and has a problem because they are not there anymore.

you need to put the folders back :o

This is a known issue that will be addressed in an upcoming release. In the meantime you can setup a cronjob to periodically clear out the sessions directory. For example, this command would locate and delete all session files that are older than 60 minutes:


find /full/path/to/tx/data/sessions -type f -mmin +60 -exec rm {} \;

If you wanted to run this daily at 1am, you could use this:


0 1 * * * find /full/path/to/tx/data/sessions -type f -mmin +60 -exec rm {} \;
