TradeX and Internet Explorer Problems
« on: June 05, 2013, 06:43:18 AM »
Hi

I just installed TradeX on http://interracialinterracialinterracial.com to test it out.

I have TradeX working in conjunction with TGP Rotator.  First click to trades then 40% skim.
Google Chrome and Firefox work fine.

However, when i use Internet Explorer 9.0 there are serious problems.
example : If i click a thumbnail link it will goto a trade or the gallery link (as it should do), but then
if i click that thumbnail AGAIN, it takes me to the SAME url again, over and over, EACH subsequent time.

I then found another site using TradeX and in conjunction with (i think) TGPX  http://appleasses.com
Here i can duplicate EXACTLY the same issue with IE, chrome and firefox work correctly.

I then tested my TEXT links as they do NOT work in conjunction with TGP Rotator, but i again duplicated
the same issue with IE, with Chrome and Firefox again working correctly.

I am guessing now it is a problem with out.php in TradeX ?

So i then found this : If i use this url direct into my browsers :   http://interracialinterracialinterracial.com/tx/out.php?
In google chrome, it will take you through the trades in the out list (as it should do), however
in IE an FIREFOX , it takes you to the same trade over and over and over again!  (So now we have a problem with Firefox too).

Again, this can be duplicated with
http://appleasses.com/tx/out.php

In addition to this, i noticed that clicks created while using IE, where NOT always being counted in the TradeX stats !

Has anybody noticed this problem before or have any ideas how to fix or address this ?
This seems like a massive bug/problem, but i am thinking to myself there could be a problem with our installations, as
surely SOMEONE would of noticed a monster set of issues like this prior to now.

Thanks
Nick

I think I already covered the reasons with this part of my post.

To explain further...I just wanted to demonstrate that this issue with TradeX is widespread, and not just confined to
MY installation.

Are you not also concerned, as I am, regarding these bugs ? Nobody, seems to be. Which is somewhat surprising.

Regards,
Nick
ps. I did send you a message on Icq on 7th june. Not sure if you got it.

I dont have IE9 installed because I use WinXP.  Its works fine with my IE8.

Have you been able to resolve this issue with IE9 and TradeX?

No. Haven't found a fix.

The IE 9.0 is one thing, but the major problem is that it is NOT correctly counting clicks and traffic.

Hopefully somebody can modify it for us, I doubt it would take much work.
