General Discussion / How to fix preview url after switching site to https
« on: November 04, 2018, 01:32:32 AM »
You will notice that the preview_url is hardcoded in the database, so it will not dynamically change once you add a SSL cert to your site.  You will need to modify the database to update this.

*Always backup before attempting database modifications*

After you select your database, run this command :

Code: [Select]
UPDATE tx_gallery_previews SET preview_url = REPLACE(preview_url, 'http:', 'https:') WHERE preview_url LIKE ('http:%');

Done deal.

delete the .htaccess file in /tx/data/trades/.htaccess and then hit reload and the error goes away  8)
This is the correct answer.

The file is now called ".Empty_Directory.txt" - Delete that from /tx/data/trades/

I had this problem too. When I looked at the mysql.class.php I noticed a small mistake.

Look up this line (around line 272 in the file):

Code: [Select]
function mysqli_field_name($result){

and change it to:

Code: [Select]
function mysqli_field_name($query){

Kind regards,

Appreciate the help Sir.  Fixed my issue!  :)

Older Scripts / Remove %%Powered_By%% in Footer (AutoRank PHP)

Since the jmbsoft domain is now pointing to a casino website, I'd like to remove the link.  Anyone know where the code is?

I have been trying to update this script myself to work with PHP 5.5.

I have some of it working.  I am hitting a snag displaying galleries.  This function doesn't seem to work:

Code: [Select]
function GetColumns($table, $as_hash = FALSE)
        $columns = array();
        $result = $this->Query('DESCRIBE #', array($table));
        //$field = mysql_field_name($result, 0);
        $field = mysqli_fetch_field_direct($result, 0);

        while( $column = $this->NextRow($result) )
            if( $as_hash )
                $columns[$column[$field]] = $column[$field];
                $columns[] = $column[$fie

        return $columns;

Gives the illegal offset type error on ($columns[$column[$field]] = $column[$field]; ) line.  I can not find where $column is declared.

I var_dumped $result and it comes back as null.

Any ideas?

I looked at a "auto-install" to see the structure and I noticed that there are .htaccess files in a few of the data folders (GitHub) version that are not in the old version.  I removed them and the error went away.  Why are there .htaccess files that say "deny from all" in those data folders?

Thanks for the reply.

I deleted files, replaced files from working copies... Reinstalled... Nothing worked.

Dedicated server:

Script Version: Master trade X (from github)
PHP Version: 5.2.5
MySQL Version: 5

Have you tried the server test script: No

Have you modified any code yourself: No

Link to site: No

Description of issue: On the control panel I have this error right above the black bar header for the trades.

A fatal error has occurred: unpack(): Type L: not enough input, need 4, have 2 in .......tx/lib/stats.php on 186

The page does not completely load and the new trades do not appear.

I moved away from Jmbsoft for new projects a while ago, but still have a few installs floating around.  I logged in today and was greeted by github's 404 page.  I was like WTF?!?!

Anyway, I found my way here and figured I say thanks for your efforts.

How safe do you think this move to open source is?

Should I be MORE concerned about possible breaches now?
