TradeX Discussion / Re: Error after install.

delete the .htaccess file in /tx/data/trades/.htaccess and then hit reload and the error goes away  8)
This is the correct answer.

The file is now called ".Empty_Directory.txt" - Delete that from /tx/data/trades/

TgpX(SE) Discussion / Migrating from http: to https:
« Last post by hotndirtybabes on April 24, 2017, 11:44:15 AM »
What are the pitfalls in doing this with a 5 year old database? I run a network of 14 TGPs/LLs off of the one install, and it all works very nicely, or rather it did. I recently took 2 of the domains and went through all the steps to move them to https. The Let's Encrypt certificate  wasn't enough for my purposes, so I rolled everything back to http:. Both were big mistakes. One domain is just fine - no problems anywhere. The other one .. well, I had galleries that were in the build while that one was https. Even with everything rolled back - database optimzied via the Tools, manually repaired in PhpMyAdmin, templates rebuilt, it does not update when I do a Build All with New. I have to go to the page manager and build each page manually after each build. For now, it is an irritation that I can deal with.

So, what would be the best way to move this monster of a build? There are nearly 5,000 galleries in the database. I am really open to ideas here.

ToplistX Discussion / Running with PHP 5.6?
« Last post by Robert9 on December 29, 2016, 06:40:49 PM »
I have changed some code inside the script to make it run with php 5.6
This is needed for example in mysql_class using mysqli instead of mysql.

To create Tables we need "engine" instead of "type".

But there are more strange errors. For example there is

foreach( explode("\n", $source) as $line )

in compiler.class

and this never stops. I have used a break to stop it and have a page created now.

Has anyone a running script with a new php version, please?
I really think about to use my old rankem pro instead of searching too many hours.

And is there a rankem pro 5 somewhere to download, please?
I only have the 4.

TgpX(SE) Discussion / Re: Is There an Updated Download for Php 5.6 Anywhere?
« Last post by ppmedia on October 12, 2016, 09:10:12 PM »
Just real curious, we just moved to php 5.6 and, of course, there are issues coming form php 5.3.3 -- I'm growing weary of trying various search anf replaces, trying to figure out which files need to be edited.

Can anyone please do one of the following:

  • Detail the filenames that need to be altered, and what search/replaces need to be done to make the script work with php 5.6? OR
  • Is there an actual working download for the script that works with php 5.6?**

**  I tried AdultKings' GitHub pull, but there's no documentation at all as to which files I need to upload to overwrite the existing ones over our php 5.3.x version.

Any assistance appreciated.

I am not sure there is a working download, I haven't found one anyway, but my copy is edited to function with PHP 5.6.26 (on Debian).
I don't know if it will install but it runs and the scanner etc. works.

Let me know if you want a copy of my directory.
TgpX(SE) Discussion / Re: Where are the template files
« Last post by ppmedia on October 09, 2016, 03:09:33 PM »

Does anyone know where are the template files located based on what TGPX builds the pages. I am not talking about the .tpl files.

I am talking about the files that include the code for the pages, the ones I create myself (the templates for the index pages). I do not find them, where are they located? A logical assumption would be /templates, but they are not there ????

They are stored in the database, in the table tx_pages, both as templates and as compiled files.

This makes little sense, other than being able to recreate everything without any files (which you still can't because you need the thumbs) but it's how JMB coded the system.
